How long does my Ovation
last?
As long as you want it to unless it is in violation of our
Terms & Conditions Policy . Your Ovations remain
available online until you decide to delete them. Regardless of any
changes in the business, or even a decision to cease taking new
Ovations, we plan to continue maintaining all of our current Ovations
for a minimum of ten years, though we hope to keep them up forever.
If I no longer want to
keep an Ovation what do I do?
Go into your account and select the option to delete the Ovation and it
will be removed from the site immediately.
Can I get a refund if I
delete a Ovation?
As you may have noticed, Ovations are currently free. Once we begin charging a very small fee (less than a dead-tree card, we promise!), that's for the publication of your Ovation no matter
how long you decide to leave it on the site.
Once I create an Ovation, can I change it from one person to a different person by
editing it?
No, the edits can be made to the information about the person but you
can't edit the name of the person and create a whole new Ovation from an
existing one.
Do you ever remove
Ovations from the site without notifying the creator?
Yes, if an Ovation is deemed to be pornographic or exploitive of youth
in any way we will remove it immediately. If it is reported to us that a
specific Ovation has been created to cause defamation of an individual's
character we will remove it. There will be no notice or refund offered
for any account that is eliminated because of these issues.
Can I create an anonymous
Ovation?
You certainly may. You can even have it anonymously sent to the person you created it for.
Can I add the
Ovation I create to the social network sites for the special person I am
creating the Ovation for?
Yes, you can add it to their Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and flicker
sites if you have the appropriate URLs for them.
How old do you have to
be to create an Ovation?

How do I load pictures, images, etc.
onto the Ovation I am creating?
Click on Ovations Manager and then "Start a New Ovation." In Step Four
of the wizard, click "Browse" and browse to the image you want to use.
Then click Add.
Do I have to
have a picture for the Ovation I want to create?
No.
Do I need to answer all the questions you ask about the person?
No, you can fill out as many or as few -- write as much or as little -- as you like. The questions you leave blank simply don't appear in the Ovation.
Is there a way to limit who sees my Ovation?
No, currently all Ovations are open to all to see.
