About Laurie McAfee:

This will take a while to build, so for now, only a short note.  I plan to return regularly to add to my Ovation about Laurie.

I met Laurie in Skaneateles, New York, in the 70s.  We survived the 70s and married in 1980.  It has been a wonderful 30 years. 

We have three beautiful daughters, all of whom have Ovations here: Marguerite, Bonnie, and Rosaleen.

We've lived all over, including New York in several areas, Connecticut, New Jersey, England, and Canada.  Bonnie was born in England, and the other two daughters were born in New Jersey.

Laurie is the most caring, and creative, person you will meet.  Everyone lovers her, and she loves everyone.

Laurie got her degree in early childhood education from SUNY Geneseo, the top school in the State University of New York system, and considered one of the "public ivies".  I met her when she was working at a graphic arts shop.  We started dating, and eventually, I asked her to work in my photographic product sales company.  We traveled together, including overseas for my export business, and eventually, in 1980, we married.

How I know her:

Laurie came into a gift shop in Skaneateles, NY, that I had created for one of my brothers.  She came in with her roommate and I asked them both out for a ride on the lake that evening.

Favorite memory:

Our first date ... Riding in a jet boat together on Skaneateles Lake.  The rest is private.
